Rules and Regulations:

1. Entries close 5pm Monday 13th of November 2023

2. Photos to be dropped off at Dorrigo Show Office, Main Pavilion, along with online or paper entry form (from 2:30- 5:30pm on Monday the 13th of November)

3. Any size is accepted up to a maximum of an 8x12 inch print (20cm x 30cm)

4. All photos must be mounted on black cardboard for entry to be accepted. Black cardboard can be purchased at Dorrigo Photographic Services (until sold out), for $1 per A3 sheet if required. Photo must be mounted on black cardboard with 3cm of border around the photo

5. An entrant may enter no more than two photos per class, but each photo can only be entered in one class.

6. Photographs are to be taken on the Dorrigo Plateau (excluding class 4- My World)

7. Dorrigo Photographic Services can print your image/s for the competition at a 25% discount. Images must be received by Thursday 2nd November to be included in the final Dorrigo Show Print Run

8. Photographs must not have been entered in a previous Dorrigo Show

9. All photographs must be the work of the exhibitor

10. All reasonable care is taken with exhibits, but no responsibility will be taken for any loss or damage

11. Entrants retain copyright of their images, the entrant provides The Dorrigo Show and Dorrigo Photographic Services a limited- use authorisation to publish and distribute their photographs for the sole purpose of promoting The Dorrigo Show and to acknowledge entrants and winners and promote the Photography section. Images may also be showcased online via social media and will be credited with your name if used, now and into the future.

Class 7001 Places

This category is for photographs of Places on the Dorrigo Plateau. Eg landscape, townscape. People and animals may be included in this category, but they should not be the primary focus of the image

Class 7002 Flora/ Nature

This category is for photographs of flora on the Dorrigo Plateau. The main subject in your image should be trees, flowers, plants etc

Class 7003 Animals

This category is for photographs of animals on the Dorrigo Plateau. The main subject in your image should be an animal or group of animals. Animals may be captive or wild.

Class 7004 My World

This is a special category for photographs taken beyond the plateau, anywhere in the world. For example landscape, townscape. People and animals may be included in the images of this category

Class 7005 Selfie

This category is a photograph that one has taken of oneself.

Class 7006 Wildlife

This category is for photographs of Wildlife on the Dorrigo Plateau. The main subject can be various forms of wildlife in their natural habitat. Eg. images of animals in movement or action such as eating, fighting, or in flight.

Youth Under 12 years

Class 7007 Selfie

This category is a photograph that one has taken of oneself.
